Using the IRC Section 1031 to Help You With Investment Real Estate

Are you looking for opportunities to help you invest in the real estate market? One of the big fears of the real estate industry is the capital gains taxes that are ten from the proceeds you get after you buy and then sell a property for a profit over some time. The 1031 exchange, from the IRC Section 1031, helps with this area.

The whole concept of the 1031 exchange is that you can take one property and the proceeds from that property and roll it into a new investment opportunity. Using the IRC Section 1031, you can then defer all of the capital gains from the prior property. This pushes off all capital gains taxes to a later date, allowing you to re-invest and avoid hefty taxes.
